Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting, sod laying, and hardscape construction such as patios and walkways
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to maintain lush, healthy lawns
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and performing tree care to promote healthy growth
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, trenching, and installing irrigation systems
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff
- Maintain equipment such as excavators, lawnmowers, trimmers, and other landscaping machinery through routine inspections and basic repairs
- Assist with horticulture tasks including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while adhering to best practices in gardening and plant care
- Ability to operate basic software program on your phone to look at schedule and jobs, and be able to take photos and/or put notes and/or expenses into the job details.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
- Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques, including hardscape installation and irrigation system setup
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus, but not required; training will be provided
- Strong work ethic with physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in horticulture, tree care, and site maintenance
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate small machinery safely is advantageous
- Ability to lead a small crew to perform designated jobs
- Experience with skid loaders, hauling trailers, operating MT's and mini excavators is preferred

Pay: $21.25 - $28.50 per hour
