What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fin & Tonic Host/Hostess position at Fin & Tonic?
As a Fin & Tonic Host or Hostess, you will be the very first smile our guests see! You'll be coordinating with other FOH Staff to ensure all guests of Fin & Tonic are receiving a 5-Star Experience.
Greet every guest with a smile and welcome them to Fin & Tonic!
Maintain a clean and tidy reception area.
Monitor and manage the guest waiting & reservations list and available seating, ensuring you can accurately estimate wait times for new guests as they come in.
Regularly check the queue of reservations to ensure tables are held or released accordingly.
Answer incoming calls with impeccable phone etiquette.
Know the menu and specials so you can answer questions as necessary.
Escort guests to their seats and inform them of their Server's name.
Assist wait staff as needed.
Make contact with guests as they leave, thank them for choosing Fin & Tonic!
Candidates must be available to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends and/or holidays.
