Position Summary
The Digital Commerce Manager oversees Fimco’s digital revenue channels, including Fimcoindustries.com, third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart.com, etc.), and future direct-to-consumer initiatives. This role is responsible for driving online sales growth, optimizing product presentation across digital touchpoints, and ensuring pricing, merchandising, and content strategies align with overall business objectives.
This position works closely with Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Finance, and IT teams to ensure digital platforms align with business objectives and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce & Revenue Growth
- Oversee performance of Fimcoindustries.com and third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart.com, and other e-commerce partners).
- Develop and execute strategies to increase online conversion rates and revenue.
- Optimize checkout flow, cart experience, and product presentation.
- Develop channel-specific growth strategies (organic optimization, content enhancements, promotional planning).
- Oversee product listings on marketplace platforms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and optimization.
- Monitor and reduce cart abandonment through UX improvements and remarketing strategies.
- Analyze marketplace search rankings and category positioning.
- Evaluate marketplace and distributor integrations for revenue expansion.
- Collaborate with Product Development to prepare SKUs for digital launch.
- Work with Finance to ensure pricing accuracy and reporting alignment.
Website Ownership & Optimization
- Oversee day-to-day website functionality, performance, uptime, and speed.
- Manage product listings including descriptions, specs, pricing, inventory visibility, and downloadable assets.
- Conduct ongoing website audits to ensure data accuracy and usability.
- Implement and track on-site SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with IT/hosting partners to troubleshoot technical issues and deploy updates.
- Lead UX improvements to enhance product discoverability and user experience.
- Track competitor pricing and digital positioning.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor website analytics (GA4, heatmaps, attribution tools).
- Track and manage reviews and ratings trends in collaboration with Customer Service
- Provide actionable insights on traffic sources, behavior flow, and product performance.
- Report on KPIs including conversion rate, revenue per session, bounce rate, average order value, and cart abandonment.
- Monitor unauthorized sellers or pricing inconsistencies when applicable.
- Identify growth opportunities based on data trends.
- Build dashboards for marketing and executive leadership.
Digital Content Creation & Support
- Develop and manage digital landing pages in support of campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Creative Lead to integrate optimized imagery and video into listings.
- Write and optimize product descriptions for SEO and conversion.
- Support blog content, buying guides, and educational resources to drive traffic.
- Ensure all content aligns with SEO strategy and enhances product visibility.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current on e-commerce trends, marketplace algorithm changes (Amazon SEO, Walmart marketplace updates), SEO/SEM, and UX best practices.
- Research and recommend new tools, marketplace opportunities, plugins, and automation platforms.
- Identify opportunities for marketing automation or personalization.
- Explore distributor portal integrations and future marketplace expansion.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Marketing, or related field preferred
- 3–7 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or website management
- Strong understanding of website analytics, SEO, and digital merchandising
- Experience managing product content and digital platforms
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and content management systems
- Experience with GA4 and digital analytics tools
- Experience in manufacturing, outdoor power equipment, or consumer products industries a plus
