Duties
- Operate manufacturing equipment
- Interpret production documents and work instructions to ensure precise manufacturing operations
- Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards of components
- Assemble mechanical parts using hand tools and mechanical assembly techniques
- Conduct manual handling of heavy materials while adhering to safety protocols for lifting and moving loads
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, inspections, and quality checks
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety standards in all aspects of manufacturing activities
Skills
- Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility operations with knowledge of safety standards in production environments
- Proficiency with heavy equipment, power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use measuring devices accurately
- Experience with assembly line processes, mechanical assembly, and managing production workflows
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and process improvement strategies
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing management principles and safety protocol adherence
- Technical proficiency in interpreting technical documents, using measuring instruments, and operating manufacturing equipment
- Strong communication skills for working effectively within teams or managing production staff
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
