Production Associate – Candle Division (2nd Shift)

Position Summary

The Production Associate in our Candle Division supports the manufacturing of high-quality candle products by operating production machinery, performing hand assembly work, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and working collaboratively as part of a team. This position will train on 1st shift for up to 8 weeks before transitioning to 2nd shift.

Schedule

• Training: 1st Shift (Day Shift), up to 8 weeks

• Regular Schedule: 2nd Shift (Exact hours as assigned)

Pay & Shift Differential

• Starting Pay: $22.23 per hour

• Shift Differential: Additional 5% once assigned to 2nd shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate various production machinery and equipment following safety and quality standards

• Perform manual production and handwork tasks as required

• Learn and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) during training and beyond

• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals

• Demonstrate dependability through consistent attendance and punctuality

• Exercise self-direction and accountability while completing assigned tasks

• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures

Training

• Employees will receive hands-on training on 1st shift for up to 8 weeks

• Training includes machine operation, handwork processes, safety procedures, and quality standards

• Successful completion of training is required prior to transition to 2nd shift

• Ability to learn and operate production machinery

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Dependable, reliable, and self-motivated

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Ability to use hands for repetitive tasks

• Ability to lift and/or move materials as required (with or without reasonable accommodation)
