FifthColor is a renowned activation and event solutions provider, specializing in signage and installations for world-class golf events. We take pride in delivering exceptional quality and service, contributing to the success of major tournaments, and enhancing the overall spectator experience.
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented installation specialist who is dedicated to installing and maintaining signage, support structures, flags, flagpoles, spectator barriers, picket fencing, and other event infrastructure at events nationwide to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Travel, implement, and install signage for world-class sporting events across the country.
- Install, adjust, and remove signage and support structures, flags and flagpoles, spectator barriers, picket fencing, and more according to task lists and site plans.
- Ensure compliance with event specifications and regulations while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate professionally with event organizers, project managers, and other team members to execute installations efficiently and on schedule.
- Finish and paint signage and structures in preparation for installation
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues, including existing equipment and structural issues, during the event, ensuring smooth operations.
- Oversee dismantling and removal of installations post-event while adhering to proper handling and storage protocols.
- Maintain and repair equipment, ensuring readiness for future events.
- Clean up after yourself as jobs are completed.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or higher.
- Proven experience or knowledge in installation techniques.
- Ability to use/experience using various hand tools, i.e. Drill, Saw, Hammer, Post Pounder, etc.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment as required for long stretches of the day.
- Ability to interpret specifications accurately and communicate with project managers.
- Strong attention to detail while also working efficiently under tight deadlines and in dynamic event environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to handle and adapt to unexpected challenges effectively.
- A proactive and collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn a variety of tasks.
- Professional demeanor and customer service skills with the ability to communicate with PGA, USGA, LIV golf executives and more.
Bonus Qualifications
- Labor in the context of golf events or other large-scale sporting events is a bonus.
- Construction background or carpenter skills are a plus.
- Experience in golf course maintenance is a plus.
- Knowledge of golf preferred.

Events / Working Conditions
- Early mornings and some late evenings.
- Various challenging weather conditions.
- Work hours vary (Some 10 hour workdays in succession).
- Intense timelines for task completion.
- As a physically challenging position, the candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 -75 lbs. at certain times.
Pay: $180.00 - $200.00 per day
