Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist

Byond Transportation is seeking a dedicated and reliable Non-CDL Delivery Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of household appliances such as dishwashers, over-the-stove microwaves, washers and dryers, and refrigerators. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of delivery experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. This position plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction through safe handling and accurate delivery of appliances.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport appliances to customer locations.
• Load, unload, and deliver appliances with care, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Safely lift and maneuver appliances weighing 50–100 lbs (with assistance when needed).
• Install appliances when required, following company protocols and safety standards.
• Follow designated delivery routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery, addressing questions and ensuring a positive experience.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures and noting any discrepancies.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in delivery driving or appliance delivery.
• Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license (CDL not required but a plus).
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to operate box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
• Physical ability to safely lift and move heavy appliances (50–100 lbs).
• Experience with appliance handling, installation, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
