Pay / Schedule: $28-30/hr. Hybrid schedule 8 am - 5 pm, 2 days on site - 3 days working from home. At 40hrs/week for example, earn $1,200/weekly gross!
Job Summary: the Collections Analyst is responsible for driving proactive improvements in collections effectiveness, ensuring timely resolution of past-due accounts, and enhancing cash flow processes. This role involves monitoring key performance metrics, leading process improvement initiatives, and managing escalations while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor past-due accounts and implement strategic action plans to improve cash flow.
- Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and identify process efficiencies.
- Conduct root cause analysis to drive continuous process improvement and enhance collections effectiveness.
- Manage timely collections and dispute resolution for assigned key customer accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Partner with the Cash Applications team to resolve open credits and refunds.
- Lead initiatives to improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and participate in governance calls.
- Support SAP system improvements and manage dispute resolution processes.
- Guide and mentor third-party collections teams while handling escalations.
- Ensure compliance with Government portal uploads (PIEE/WAWF, IPP.gov).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in B2B collections and order-to-cash processes.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with SAP and GetPaid systems.
- Familiarity with government portals (PIEE/WAWF, IPP.gov) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in coaching and guiding third-party collection teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to drive process improvements and participate in Kaizen events.
