Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cable Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cabling and computer networking, with experience in installing and maintaining various types of cabling systems. This role is essential for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality installation services for their data and communication needs.
Scope of Work:
- Install QTY 2 of 50 feet of ¾" EMT conduit to two (2) external antennas/APs
- Install, terminate and test 2 runs of -150' of CMR CAT6 cables to two exterior APs
- Install two (2) APs and external antennas (from AP to Site's Network Room) Refer to the drawings attached in the documents section of this WO.
- Penetrate exterior wall at the antenna/AP install locations and seal the exterior holes after AP installation.
- LMI Work Order Manager and Tech to call NOC Hot Line at 480-606- 5700 to confirm APs are online and working fine.
Technician to provide the following materials:
300' of CMR CAT6 Cable,
Approx. 100' of 3/4" EMT
Miscellaneous materials such as RJ45's, caulking, zip ties, Velcro, labels, tapcon screws, etc.
Total price for the cable, EMT, and misc. materials are Included in the fixed rate of this work order.

Required Tools/Materials:
***Cable, EMT and consumables are already priced and included in the fixed rate paid for this job. MAXIMUM consumables expense also already included in the price of this job - anything over this must be pre-approved.
- Safety Glasses
- Microsoft Teams App for communication with support
- ***300ft Cat6 CMR Cable
- ***RJ45s (10 minimum)
- Cat6 Jacks (10 minimum)
- 8-10ft ladder OR OTHER SPECIFIED LADDER PER THE TITLE OF THIS WORK ORDER
- Standard low voltage tools to terminate/test/label cable, including cable toner and wire map tester
- 100ft fish tape, push rods, pull string
- Screwdriver set (including star bits)
- Crimper
- Socket set (including 15/16", 9/16", and 3/4")
- Hammer Drill with 1 1/8" bits for wood/masonry/metal (up to 18 inches in length)
- Toggle bolts
- ***Conduit - 3/4" EMT (and the means to cut to the required length)
- Pipe bender for EMT
- Bushings (2 minimum)
- Caulk
- Label maker with printing tape
- Zip ties
- Windows laptop with ethernet port (1 gig capable/1000FD link speed) & charger
- Phone & charger
Required Deliverables:
- Picture of the inventory (tech provided materials per the required list)
- Picture of the customer provided APs
- Picture of the AP installation location approved by customer before proceeding with the installation
- Pictures of the conduit already installed before the cable runs are done
- Picture of the cable runs labeled AP1 and AP2 respectively and ports assigned by customer properly labeled
- Picture of the cable runs test with passing results
- Wide angle picture of the APs installed
- Close up picture of the exterior wall penetration properly sealed after cable has been installed.
- Signoff sheet with the name of the DCT NOC who confirmed AP's connectivity, site contact, and technician signatures.
- Picture of location where the lift was left after being used (if lift was used onsite)
