Field Day Brewing Co., the first and only brewery in North Liberty, IA, is seeking an experienced Hospitality Director to lead and elevate our taproom operations.
As the Hospitality Director of Field Day Brewing Co., you will be responsible for building systems that support exceptional guest experiences, strong team performance, and consistent operational execution. This role focuses on developing scalable hospitality standards that allow Field Day to grow beyond our current location and into future markets.
You will work closely with the Taproom leadership team, culinary leadership, brewery team, and executive leadership to ensure operations run efficiently while delivering a memorable and welcoming guest experience.

Job Responsibilities
Hospitality Director primary duties performed on a regular basis
- Develop and maintain hospitality systems that support consistent service, strong team execution, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee taproom operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and brand aligned hospitality.
- Build scalable operational processes that support future taproom growth and multi location expansion.
- Partner with taproom leadership to drive service standards, guest engagement, and team accountability.
- Lead hospitality initiatives that improve service flow, guest satisfaction, and team performance.
- Provide coaching and leadership development for taproom managers and FOH leadership.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and leadership development within the taproom team.
- Monitor operational performance including labor execution, service standards, and guest feedback.
- Partner with the brewery, culinary, and marketing teams to ensure strong alignment between guest experience and brand initiatives.
- Oversee execution of events, beer releases, and promotions to ensure consistent guest experiences.
- Ensure taproom service standards, cleanliness, and hospitality culture are consistently executed.
- Develop and implement training systems that support team growth and operational consistency.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, staffing models, and service execution.
- Attend leadership and L10 meetings and contribute ideas that improve operations, culture, and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, alcohol service regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary to support business operations

Qualifications
- 3 plus years of hospitality leadership experience in restaurant, brewery, or hospitality operations
- Strong operational and systems thinking mindset
- Proven ability to develop teams and build leadership accountability
- Experience supporting high volume hospitality environments
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
- Experience developing systems, SOPs, and scalable operations preferred
- Beer knowledge is a plus but not required
- Ability to obtain I-PACT Certification
- Ability to obtain ServSafe Certification within 30 days of employment
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
