The Middle Office Associate role supports core operational functions for OCIO & Institutional Discretionary investment clients, including account onboarding, transaction processing, trading, and maintaining accurate client records. The role partners closely with internal teams and external custodians to ensure regulatory compliance, resolve client inquiries, and consistently deliver high service standards within a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee client onboarding and ensure the accurate, timely completion of daily operational activities for Institutional OCIO and Discretionary Practice accounts.
- Lead the setup of complex and nuanced accounts for Institutional OCIO and Discretionary Practice clients, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Partner with the Middle Office Operations Analyst team to facilitate subscriptions, redemptions, and ongoing KYC/AML updates for Private Equity, Hedge Fund, and other alternative investment vehicles.
- Manage client money movements and account service requests in coordination with custodians, banks, and brokerage firms, in strict compliance with firm policies and procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive client within a client relationship management system, trading platforms, and internal client account records.
- Deliver high-quality client service by providing timely follow-up, proactive communication, and serving as a trusted operational resource to internal and external stakeholders.
- Research and respond efficiently to internal and external client inquiries, ensuring timely resolution.
- Apply knowledge and use cases of AI tools to support business objectives and streamline operations.
- Support ad hoc projects and departmental initiatives as assigned by leadership.
- Develop a strong understanding of Fiducient’s core values and consulting team functions to enhance overall client service delivery.
- Support Trade Operations team by executing trades across all client types using approved trading systems and custodian platforms.
- Assist remote Middle Office Associates with pending client requests to ensure continuity and consistency of service.
Required Education, Professional & Technical Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1 Years of Investment Consulting or Financial Industry Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Knowledge of Securities & Banking Transactions

Work Environment & Travel Requirements
- This role may travel up to 5% of the time for training and or business/events.
- This role offers a hybrid work model with three days in one of our professional office environments and two days remotely.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
