Responsibilities
- Performing data entry and maintaining physical and digital files.
- Support optical laboratory tasks such as spectacle lens dispensing, eyewear frame adjustments, and optical laboratory maintenance.
- Ordering office supplies and keep up with basic bookkeeping.
- Update POS systems and computer programs.
- Ensure the office environment remains organized, clean, and efficient.
- Answering phone, taking messages and directing calls while greeting patients and customers warmly.
Skills
- Experience with office equipment such as printers, scanners and phone systems.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities.
- Experience operating POS systems and QuickBooks.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily work.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for retail transactions, insurance billing, or inventory management.
