What are the responsibilities and job description for the Web Developer position at FiDi Hospitality?
We are an event management and hospitality company seeking a Web Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate is someone who has extensive experience in a Web Development environment. You will work directly with the Marketing Director and will have direct interaction with all levels of the company, including members of our executive team.
This is not a remote/work from home position and requires that you be in our Long Island office 5 days a week from 10am - 6pm. Please do not apply if you do not live on Long Island or in NYC. Applicants from out of state or out of the country will not be considered. Thank you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Creating various websites and web applications.
- Working on email and marketing campaigns.
- Working with Wordpress, React websites, HTML/CSS/JS websites
- Expanding the current scope of technologies and applications used within the company.
Requirements
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
- Knowledge of additional frameworks, libraries and runtime environments
- Knowledge of Wordpress, React and/or PHP a huge plus
- Full stack skills are a huge plus
- Familiar with Linux based web servers
- Windows Server Administration experience a huge plus but not required
- Detail and visually oriented and precise in code and communication
- Works well in small teams with a clear mission
