Inventory Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Analyst to support inventory accuracy, reporting, receiving, and warehouse operations across multiple locations. This role will work closely with warehouse teams, purchasing, operations, and customer service to ensure inventory records are accurate and operational issues are resolved promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records across multiple warehouse locations.
• Review daily and weekly inventory reports and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate and review cycle counts and physical inventory counts with warehouse teams.
• Research inventory variances and work with warehouse personnel to identify and correct root causes.
• Review receiving transactions and supporting paperwork to ensure inventory is received accurately and on time.
• Monitor open purchase orders, inbound shipments, transfers, and customer orders.
• Reconcile physical warehouse inventory against system inventory.
• Prepare customer-specific inventory and operational reports.
• Identify duplicate, missing, or incorrect receiving and inventory transactions.
• Work with warehouse teams to correct inventory, location, SKU, and unit-of-measure discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory trackers and assist with forecasting and replenishment planning.
• Communicate inventory shortages, overages, aging inventory, and potential stock-out risks to management.
• Support EDI transactions and troubleshoot inventory or receiving discrepancies when needed.
• Assist with storage billing and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain organized documentation for receiving, inventory adjustments, and cycle counts.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes, reporting, and overall accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, warehousing, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Must be located in Pennsylvania or near.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
• Experience working with ERP or warehouse management systems; SAP Business One experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in large datasets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple warehouse locations and manage competing priorities.
• Experience with EDI transactions and inventory reporting is a plus.
