Med Surg / Surgery Urology RN
- Shifts: 12hr, 19:00-07:00
Job Summary:
Provides nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-operative: Prepare patients and answer questions.
- Intra-operative: Assist surgeons, pass instruments, monitor patient.
- Post-operative: Manage recovery, monitor for complications, educate patients.
- Maintain a safe and efficient OR environment.
Requirements:
- RN license in state of assignment.Compact License Allowed Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility
- Minimum 2-year(s) exp.
- BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS required.
- Experience in medical-surgical units preferred.
- Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.
Work Environment & Demands:
- Will work every other weekend
- Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down).
- Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management.
