Vascular Interventional Rad Tech
Job Summary:
- Prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, evaluate images, document care, communicate with patients/doctors, and ensure radiation safety. .
- The patient population consists of those requiring an invasive cardiology or invasive radiology study. The Registered Radiologic Technologist will assist the physician in all procedures and provide a valuable service to the patient and the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ conditions, vital signs, and histories.
- Administer medications, set up IVs, perform diagnostics, and manage wounds.
- Monitor patients and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Collaborate with the care team and educate patients/families.
- Document care and maintain records per hospital policy.
Requirements:
- RN license in state of assignment.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- IEMA Radiography License
- Radiography (R)(ARRT)
