What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortuary Removal Technician position at Fidelity Memorial Group Corp?
Job Description: The removal technician will complete and assist in the removal and transport of the deceased to the funeral home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing or assisting in removal of descendants from hospitals, coroner offices, convalescent homes and residences.
- Performs verification of the deceased and reviews required documentation.
- Ability to lift 100 pounds safely.
- Excellent customer service skills and respect towards families.
- Ability to properly fill out paperwork as assigned by the funeral home for removal of the deceased.
- Willingness and ability to work night shift and/or be on call.
- Assist funeral directors as needed.
- Clean Driving record/to be approved by Insurance Company
- Other duties as assigned by the location manager
Job Types: Part-time
Salary: $33/hour
