Metro Mechanical Services is looking for a highly qualified Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our growing Hammond, LA Service Team!

Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including RTU’s, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and VRF systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components, including motors, compressors, fans, and control systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to identify system issues.
- Stay up to date with the latest HVAC technologies and service techniques.
Qualifications and preferred experience:
- 5 years of experience in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing complex HVAC equipment in a commercial/industrial setting (Chillers, VRV’s, Controls, Refrigeration, etc.).
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems.
- Universal Refrigerant Certification.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Clean and valid driving license and record required.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
