Must be available to start work at 7:30AM on Sundays, Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, plus one additional weekday. The schedule includes two consecutive days off.

Camp Verde Restaurant in Camp Verde, Texas, is known for its rich history and charming location in the Texas Hill Country. We are currently seeking a Full-time Server at our CV Restaurant to join our team. The position takes orders, serves food and beverages to guests at tables.

Key Responsibilities of Restaurant Server

• Present menus to restaurant guests, answer questions and make recommendations upon request
• Take orders from restaurant guests and enter orders in computer system for transmittal to kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages to restaurant guests within service standards
• Carry food, dishes, trays, or silverware from kitchen to tables or dining serving areas
• Remove dishes, silverware and glasses from tables or counters; carry them on trays to kitchen for cleaning
• Check with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meal and take action to correct any problems
• Collect payment from guests accurately
• Clean up spilled food/drink/ broken dishes and remove empty bottles
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements for Restaurant Server

• Formal or informal education or training that ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance is preferred
• Prior experience in a food serving/customer service position is preferred, but not necessary
• Texas Food Handler certification
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
• Skilled at active listening
• Ability to perform all physical requirements of the job with or without accommodation
• Ability to speak clearly, so others can understand
