VP, Human Resources Job Description
The VP, Human Resources provides senior level leadership and guidance to the organization’s HR operations. The Vice President is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant Human Resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic Talent Management goals.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organization’s long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management. Communicate/ with C-Suite and higher in a professional /c
- Analyze all data reflecting HR KPI’s involving change Management, Benefit Administration, Payroll, Training & Development, Culture Creation, Safety Administration, /OSHA Compliance, Talent Acquisition.
- Review Talent Acquisition functions, assess opportunities yielding cost effective results.
- Research competitive compensation and benefits with an eye to maintaining competitive relevance.
- Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of DOL, EEOC, LRB and all other regulatory bodies overseeing labor management.
- Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, Human Resources, and Talent Management.
- Drafts and implements the HR department budget.
- Oversee all employment agreements with specific attention to compliance.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/ Abilities:
· SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP required.

- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree Human Resources, and, or relevant commensurate experience at Senior Management Level in HR capacity.
