We are seeking a strong, experienced, and hands-on Director of Rehabilitation to lead the rehabilitation department at a small facility in Fall River, MA.

This is an excellent opportunity for a rehabilitation professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the success of the therapy department. You will have the opportunity to work closely with therapists, nursing staff, and facility leadership while helping ensure patients receive the highest level of rehabilitation care.

Key Responsibilities

As the Director of Rehabilitation, you will:

• Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department

• Lead, support, and collaborate with the therapy team

• Ensure patients receive high-quality, individualized rehabilitation services

• Monitor patient care, clinical needs, and overall department performance

• Work closely with PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, SLPs, and other clinical staff

• Collaborate with nursing and facility leadership to support patient outcomes

• Help coordinate therapy services and maintain an efficient department

• Provide hands-on leadership and clinical support when needed

• Promote strong communication and teamwork throughout the rehabilitation department

• Monitor documentation, care plans, and therapy-related processes

• Help identify opportunities for quality improvement and better patient outcomes

• Maintain compliance with facility policies and applicable regulations

• Support staff development, accountability, and professional growth

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Massachusetts license as a PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP

• Previous rehabilitation leadership, management, or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to manage and oversee a rehabilitation department

• Hands-on leadership approach

• Ability to work effectively with therapy, nursing, and facility leadership

• Strong commitment to patient-centered care
