Digital Press Operator

Freedom, a national Direct Mail Company based in Milton, WI, is one of the largest, independently owned, privately held, direct mail marketing providers in the United States. Why Freedom? Because we are a leader in the direct mail space, investing in technology and resources to facilitate innovative ideas, and we’re looking to add an experienced Digital Press Operator to our team on 2nd shift.

Successful Digital Press Operators work well in a fast paced, production environment, and use their problem-solving skills to keep the press running smoothly.  They use positive communication skills to mentor operators in training.

In this position you will:

• Be responsible for maximizing productivity while maintaining a high level of quality in all printed materials produced on your press
• Actively monitor the quality of materials being produced
• Set up the press to run jobs using job instructions prepared specifically for each project
• Troubleshoot problems and make necessary corrections, involving a mechanic when needed

Experience and Education:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Prior experience operating a digital press is helpful but not required
• Experience using Windows preferred but not required
• Solid reasoning/problem solving skills
• Basic proficiency with computers
