As a Collateral Analyst, you will be part of the FGI Finance Collateral Team which oversees the monitoring of collateral across the Loan Portfolio. This role is hybrid with 3 days in the Boca Raton, FL office and 2 days remote. The Collateral Analyst will report to the Director of Collateral and be responsible for the following:
Perform comprehensive reviews of client’s collateral upon weekly borrowing base submission and immediately report any inconsistencies, errors, or unusual findings
Work directly with clients to discuss and resolve any discrepancies in their collateral reporting
Analyze and comment on borrowers’ collateral trends
Onboard new client loans with ensuring collateral reporting requirements are in place
Support Relationship Managers on client inquires
Assist with treasury services and requests
Work closely with the collateral team to effectively monitor collateral across the portfolio
Work directly with clients to perform debtor “accounts receivable” verifications
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business related field
1 year of relevant experience preferred (asset-based lending, trade finance, commercial lending, accounting) in an analyst, operations, audit or collection’s role.
Preferred experience in analytics and/or Cash Management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
