What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time Logistics/Shop Assistant for FGH Delivery position at FGH Delivery?
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics/Shop Assistant. We need an independent and self-motivated individual.
This role will start at 6:30am at the FedEx Depot, 1590 Innovation Dr. You will organize and sort packages, and help load those packages onto the delivery vans with the driver.
Once the drivers are dispatched your role will include Lube Tech/Shop Assistant responsibilities. You will focus on maintenance tasks for our fleet of 30 cargo vehicles at our shop in Dyersville. You will perform general vehicle inspections to determine specific types of maintenance and repairs. You will order parts and make sure they are on hand when the vehicle is pulled for maintenance. You will also drop off and pick up vans and assist with oil changes, tires, brake pad replacement, etc. until you can work independently.
Our days of operation are Monday-Saturday. Friday & Saturday are required for this full-time position.
All candidates must be 18 years of age and pass a background check (no felonies or misdemeanors in the last 7 years).
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
The pay rate for this position will be $17-$20 an hour based on experience.
