Senior CNC Precision Machinist

At our advanced manufacturing site in Westminster, MD 21157, your day starts with transforming solid stock into exacting parts. You’ll bring prints to life, own your setups, and keep machines humming to tight tolerances. From first-piece inspection to final pass, you are the guardian of accuracy and repeatability.

• Set up and run CNC lathes and mills to manufacture precision components that meet engineering specifications.
• Translate blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD data into efficient machining strategies.
• Watch the cut: adjust offsets, change tools, and fine-tune feeds/speeds to maintain quality throughout the run.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and diagnose issues to minimize downtime.
• Champion safety practices and adhere to quality standards across every operation.
• Partner with engineering and production to refine processes, tooling, and programs for optimal throughput.
• Share your expertise by training and mentoring junior machinists.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a machining certificate or technical degree is a plus.
• 5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience with a deep understanding of CNC operations.
• Fluency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and related documents.
• Sharp problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Proficiency with common CNC machine types and tooling, including both lathes and mills.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
