CMM Technician
SUMMARY:
Feuer is seeking an entry-level CMM Technician to help grow our CMM department. The CMM Technician role requires some understanding of manufacturing processes and precision machining.
We will train the right candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with all measuring room test equipment: CMM, shaft circular, and form deviation machine (Jenoptik CFM similar to Adcole), surface finish and form measuring machine, calipers, and micrometers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Some experience using typical shop hand tools like mics, calipers and height gages.
- Strong attention to detail, concentration on technical data, and strong math skills.
- Good mechanical skills and aptitude.
- Must be comfortable communicating both in the engineering office and on the shop floor.
- Minimum Education is High School Diploma, but technical degree is a plus.
- Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
- Able to stand the majority of the shift to perform duties (8-12 hour shifts).
