TECHNICIAN B LEVEL
Fette Ford in Clifton, NJ is growing and looking to hire B - LEVEL Technicians. Must possess advanced skill, dealership experience, and start to finish repair knowledge of a Master Automotive Technician.

• SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE DEPENDENT UPON CERTIFICATION LEVEL

Monday – Friday Production Bonus

38 hours of production = $1.00/hour

40 hours of production = $3.50/hour

44 hours of production = $4.40/hour

50 hours of production = $5.25/hour

55 hours of production = $5.75/hour

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems include engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification

• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs

• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers

• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made

• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation

• Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs

• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations

Qualifications

• 5 years prior Automotive Technician (Mechanic) experience required

• ASE certification is a plus, but not required

• Other manufacturer competency is highly considered

• Clean driving record

• Must pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug testing

• Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service

• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
