Job Summary
Trend VW is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our growing Service Department. This position is ideal for individuals looking to begin or advance a career in automotive service within a dealership environment. We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid services
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings accurately
- Assist senior technicians with repairs and diagnostics
- Replace filters, bulbs, batteries, brakes, and wiper blades
- Maintain shop cleanliness and follow all safety procedures
- Properly use dealership tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems
- Follow manufacturer and dealership repair standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Entry-level automotive experience or technical school training is a plus
- Strong willingness to learn and grow within the dealership
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
