Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Materials Management (MM) solutions across enterprise supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in procurement, inventory management, vendor integration, and SAP S/4HANA transformations. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional SAP modules to deliver scalable and efficient procurement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP MM solution architecture and end-to-end implementation projects.
- Design and optimize procurement, inventory management, and warehouse processes in SAP S/4HANA.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Integrate SAP MM with SD, PP, WM/EWM, FI/CO, and Ariba modules.
- Drive system enhancements, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
- Provide expertise in master data management, vendor management, and purchasing workflows.
- Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and rollout activities.
- Lead offshore/onshore functional teams and mentor junior consultants.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, audit, and procurement governance standards.
- Coordinate testing activities including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 10 years of SAP MM experience with at least 3 years in Architect or Lead role.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA MM implementations.
- Expertise in:
- Procurement & Purchasing
- Inventory Management
- Vendor Management
- Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes
- Release Strategies & Workflow
- Batch Management & Material Master
- Experience integrating MM with SAP SD, PP, WM/EWM, and FI modules.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and reporting tools.
- Experience with SAP Ariba integration is highly preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP MM Certification preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, healthcare, retail, or high-tech industries.
- Exposure to cloud integrations and SAP BTP is a plus.
- Experience with global implementations and multi-site deployments.
