Position Summary:
Fertility & Surgical Associates is an infertility and surgical medical office seeking a pleasant and caring R.N. who is a quick study fast learner. Position requires someone who is a team-player and able to multi-task, work quickly, problem-solve, have good judgment with day-to-day job functions, has excellent organization, computer, typing skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and able to handle a high-demand environment.
Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to: performing patient-care functions under the supervision of the Physician: IV; vital signs monitoring, EKG's, medication administration and instructions; assist in recovery room duties for Post Op care, care coordination, surgery scheduling, maintains patient care documentation, consistently demonstrates professional skills and abilities, utilizing their knowledge base and skills sets to promote the highest quality of patient care; provides direct patient care under the guidelines of the State of California's Nursing Practice Act. Must be able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.
Full-time position up to 40 hours/week available.
Educational Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school for R.N.s
- Valid California Registered Nurse License
- CPR/ACLS/BCLS Certification
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting
- Minimum 1 year of experience in women's health (willing to train new R.N. graduates)
- Knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures
- Skilled in charting and documenting nursing actions
- Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
- Computer literate and keyboard skilled, type 55 wpm
- Neat and professional appearance.
