RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this key role, the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all in-bound and out-bound delivery logistics. Key responsibilities include scheduling pickups and deliveries in a timely manner and communicating these schedules with all Team members. This role also requires reception entries into SAP of materials received as well as the flexibility of operating a forklift when required in the off season.
Specific responsibilities to include:
· Scheduling of all in-bound and out-bound deliveries.
· Reception entries of materials/product received into SAP.
· Process Bill of Lading paperwork for all out-bound deliveries daily.
· Monitoring out-bound shipping daily to make sure all scheduled pickups are completed.
· Perform loading and offloading forklift duties during the off season.
· Assisting with additional office tasks as required.
· Develop relationships with trucking logistics companies to ensure reliability.
· Resolve any issues that arise to ensure on time delivery to customers.
· Follows market trends to align with associated costs.
· Support to Customer Service/Sale Team with freight rate requests.
· LTL rates and scheduling.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
· High School diploma required.
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a logistics role.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Time management skills.
· Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP a plus).
· Ability to adapt to an evolving environment.
· Excellent verbal and digital communication skills.
· Ability to work independently.
· Experience with operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
· Ability to work overtime when required during the peak season.
