Vice President Operations

Ferretti Search is delighted to partner with a growing manufacturing company to locate their next Vice President of Operations.

• Location: Mount Holly, NC (On-site)
• Compensation: $200,000–$250,000 base annual bonus
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

What will your day look like?

• Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations across manufacturing, production planning, maintenance, and warehousing.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute operational strategies to improve efficiency, capacity, and workflow across the business.
• Performance Management: Establish KPIs, track production metrics, and implement corrective actions to ensure operational targets are consistently met.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives focused on Lean, automation, waste reduction, and process optimization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with finance, HR, engineering, and sales to align operational capabilities with company goals.
• Team Development: Mentor operations leaders, build high-performing teams, and reinforce a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.

Who are you?

• Experienced Operations Executive: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Manufacturing Background: 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Process-Focused: Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strategic & Hands-On: Comfortable setting long-term strategy while remaining close to day-to-day operations.
• People-Centric Leader: Skilled at building teams, improving culture, and influencing at all levels of the organization.
