Job Summary:
Supervise a department of administrative personnel to ensure timely and accurate support for both leadership and staff. This role focuses on leading a high-performing team, managing full-cycle recruiting for hourly positions, and overseeing essential business processes like payroll, compliance, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coach administrative staff. Manage professional development, conduct performance reviews, and collaborate with senior management on hiring and staffing decisions.
- Talent Acquisition: Manage the hourly recruiting process, including sourcing candidates, coordinating with external staffing partners, and maintaining the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Operations & Payroll: Oversee daily administrative functions such as payroll reporting, personnel changes, new hire orientations, and leave of absence administration.
- Workforce Planning: Partner with leadership to align staffing levels with organizational goals and implement retention initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure all administrative functions and employee records comply with company policies and legal requirements. Coordinate communications and documentation for internal audits.
- Employee Engagement: Facilitate focus groups, track feedback, and provide recommendations to leadership. Support the coordination of company events, safety metrics, and training sessions.
- Special Projects: Handle ad-hoc projects and cross-functional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of administrative experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and experience with HRIS or timekeeping systems.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to coach others and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Mobility: Ability to travel to various company locations as required.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
