This opportunity is for a full-time Production Operator working on our night shift 7pm - 7am with rotating weekends. The starting rate is $23.00 per hour. There is an additional shift premium of $1.00 per hour for night shift.

This opportunity is for a full-time Production Operator working on our night shift 7pm - 7am with rotating weekends. The starting rate is $23.00 per hour. There is an additional shift premium of $1.00 per hour for night shift.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate machines as assigned
- Maximize output of equipment by minimizing downtime & minimize waste
- Ensure machine and floors are free from debris and product
- Identify machine problems and ensure they are resolved quickly
- Work well with maintenance in eliminating downtime
- Ensure product is produced / packaged according to company quality standards
- Ensure machine is locked out according to company safety policies and procedures
- Ensure Critical Control Points checks are completed
- Monitoring equipment on a regular basis
- Ensure all program requirements/standards regarding quality and food safety are practiced and maintained
- Cleaning and sanitizing areas and equipment during changeover
- Able to work rotating shifts and overtime when required
- Ability to meet/exceed goals in a fast-paced environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50lbs
- Meets the physical demands of the position
- Excellent eye and hand coordination
- Committment to adhere to the company's GMPs including wearing uniforms and PPE
- Competent problem-solving skills
- Work in a team environment
- High sense of urgency
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to Ferrero safety, food safety and quality policies and procedures
- High School Diploma / GED
- Previous experience working with food manufacturing equipment is preferred
