About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) projects in the Jacksonville, FL area. This role will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of municipal and industrial water/wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of wastewater treatment plant projects, from pre-construction planning to project closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, change orders, and documentation.
• Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Resolve issues, manage risks, and ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to contract requirements, including scope, cost, and schedule.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5 years of project management experience in wastewater treatment or similar heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, and environmental standards related to wastewater projects.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• PMP certification (preferred but not required).

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) requirements.
• Experience working with municipal agencies or public utilities in Florida.
• Background in design-build, CMAR, or other alternative project delivery methods.
