What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Specialist position at Ferraro Law?
Intake Clerk Purpose: Responsible for all potential, new, and pending client inquiries of the firm, including phone interviews, claim matter initiation, claim distribution, managing inquiry tracking status and performing other administrative duties as assigned. Reports to Intake Supervisor.
Skills/Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalency. Must be experienced and comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information to service clients. Experience in the medical field, or knowledge of medical terminology. Strong typing ability (word processor/computer skills). Ability to work well under pressure, active listener, effective time management for workflow coordination, critical thinker, results driven, organized, exceptional communication with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, extremely detail oriented to contribute to the overall productivity of the team. Must have a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products with advanced knowledge in Excel to effectively manage internal databases and spreadsheets. Must possess a warm, courteous, and professional personality, with the ability to interact effectively and in an empathetic manner with clients of all backgrounds and team members.
Intake Clerk Job Duties:
1. Inbound calls related to client inquiries.
2. Outbound calls related to client inquiries that must be completed within a 48-hour time period.
3. Manage internal callback logs and inquiry list to monitor the status of pending inquiries.
4. Data entry of critical information into Litify to create matters.
5. Coordinating with the Marketing department regarding campaigns and lead conversions.
6. Assisting with clerical tasks and special projects as needed.
7. Conduct phone interviews to accurately qualify, reject or refer clients.
8. Maintain working knowledge of Firm’s practice areas and corresponding attorney’s.
9. Responsible for accuracy and completion of claim distribution to increase department efficiency.
10. Relentless dedication to the overall progress of the claim onboarding cycle to ensure reasonable execution.
11. Other duties may be assigned.
Salary : $18 - $20
