What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Associate position at Ferraro Foods of New Jersey LLC?
The Store Associate will provide excellent guest service, be able to multi-task, and have previous cash-handling skills. Must operate a cash register, adding machine, calculator, telephone, and credit card machine. The Store Associate will be able to stand for an 8-hour shift, lift up to 20lbs frequently, carry and move items between 10-50lbs occasionally, climb a ladder, and build displays in the store.
Job Functions:
- Professionally assist customers.
- Handle transactions/purchases appropriately.
- Responsible for closing the register.
- Maintains inventory control through rotation of expiration on products.
- Required to replenish shelves and refrigeration units.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate would have 2 years of experience in cash handling skills.
- Previous store clerk experience preferred.
- Capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
