Job Description: Experienced HVAC Installer (Residential/Light Commercial)Ferrara Mechanical is currently seeking a punctual, honest, and hardworking HVAC Installers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their workmanship, holds themselves to high ethical standards, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.If you are a self-motivated professional with a "get it done right the first time" mentality, we want to talk to you.Responsibilities & DutiesPrompt Installation: Arrive at job sites on time, prepared to install HVAC equipment (furnaces, A/C units, heat pumps, ductless systems) according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.System Startup & Testing: Perform thorough startups, testing electrical circuits, checking refrigerant levels, and ensuring proper airflow.Ductwork & Piping: Fabricate and install sheet metal and flex duct systems, and run copper refrigerant lines, including brazing and soldering.Customer Service: Maintain a professional appearance and attitude, representing the company well while communicating with homeowners or contractors.Site Management: Keep the workspace organized, clean, and safe, ensuring all trash and debris are removed upon job completion.Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork, including installation checklists and material logs.Required Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in HVAC installation (preferred).Character: A track record of being honest, reliable, and hardworking.Promptness: Exceptional time management skills; consistently prompt and dependable.Certifications: EPA Section 608 Certification preferred, but not required.Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Physical Stamina: Able to lift heavy equipment (50 lbs), work in tight, hot/cold spaces (attics, crawlspaces, rooftops), and stand/bend for long periods.Tools: Must have a basic set of hand tools necessary for installation.Preferred QualificationsOSHA 30Experience with advanced, energy-efficient, or smart home HVAC systems.What We OfferCompetitive salary ($20 $30/hr) based on experience.PTO / OvertimeContinued education and trainingOngoing training and professional development.Why Join Our Team?We are a company that values honesty and hard work above all else.
