What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Ferndale Veterinary Hospital?
Are you passionate about animals and looking to work with a team that is dedicated to helping animals and clients? Do you go above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer service and support for your team? If so, then consider joining us at Ferndale Veterinary Hospital as our newest Veterinary Receptionist!
We are looking for a compassionate veterinary receptionist with outstanding customer service skills. Our receptionists are the first and last point of contact with our clients, and they create lasting impressions of our hospital. They should be helpful, empathetic, courteous, and professional at all times. We are seeking an individual who is a self-starter, organized, reliable and efficient, with an outgoing and friendly personality who works well under pressure. We work hard, but we have a lot of fun!
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience as a receptionist or similar. We are a busy hospital, so being able to multitask is important. You will be greeting clients on the phone and in person, making appointments, checking patients in, processing payments, updating files, and more as needed. We will train you on our software, but a proficiency in basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, email, internet applications) is required. Previous experience working with animals is preferred, but not required. We are a drug-free workplace.
Our receptionist will work mainly from our Ferndale Veterinary Hospital, but will sometimes assist our Northwest Veterinary Clinic in Blaine as well.
