Fernbrook Family Center provides internships for Masters Foundational/Generalist level students from the fields of Social Work, Psychology, and other related fields. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- Ability to tailor your hours to meet the internship requirements between 7:00am – 7:00pm.
- Travel to various locations required
- Able to work up to 40 hours per week, with overtime approval required.
- The student intern works under the direct supervision of the agency’s qualified site supervisor.
- All services provided by the Intern will be reviewed by the Supervisor.
- Provide skills services to children, adults, and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with external providers.
- Seek supervisory as needed.
- Attend trainings for skill maintenance.
- Participate in staff meetings and group supervision.
- Uphold Fernbrook's mission and policies.
- Perform other assigned duties.

- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license, car insurance, and acceptable driving record.
- Pass criminal background check based on agency and Department of Human Services requirements.
- Experience working with diverse client populations.
- Bilingual proficiency.
