Job Summary

Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
Job Summary

Supervisory Responsibilities
QMHPs do not supervise other employees but are expected to collaborate and coordinate with Fernbrook team members who share clients or caseload responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy and/or skills services to children, adults, families, and groups
- Conduct diagnostic assessments to determine eligibility for services
- Meet productivity benchmarks and weekly billable expectations
- Complete documentation in accordance with agency standards for quality and timeliness
- Coordinate care with Fernbrook staff and external service providers
- Seek consultation and clinical guidance as needed
- Complete required trainings to maintain and enhance skills
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings
- Complete continuing education requirements (minimum of 30 hours every two years or as required by licensing board)
- Uphold and represent Fernbrook Family Center’s mission
- Follow all agency policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Commitment to ongoing learning and clinical growth
- Extended periods of sitting, listening, observing, and computer use
- Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds
- Flexible schedule, typically between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Regular travel to client homes, community settings, Fernbrook offices, and other service locations
- Salaried positions: 40–43 hours per week (additional hours as needed)
- Hourly positions: Up to 40 hours per week (overtime requires prior approval)
- Active licensure as one of the following: LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (for community-based roles)
- Must pass a criminal background check per DHS and agency requirements
- Experience working with children, adults, and families
- Bilingual skills
