We are a growing commercial truck repair facility looking for a Service Writer to be the primary point of contact for our customers. This is not a driving position. The CDL is only required to occasionally test drive commercial trucks after repairs to verify they are operating properly.
What You'll Do
- Welcome customers and create repair work orders.
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate repairs.
- Communicate repair progress and estimated completion times.
- Work closely with technicians and parts personnel to keep repairs moving efficiently.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Test drive commercial trucks after repairs (CDL required).
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
- Commercial truck driving experienced preferred.
- Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and the trucking industry.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to stay organized.
