We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create smooth, level surfaces according to project specifications
- Set up and dismantle formwork and scaffolding using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper alignment and stability
- Install rebar reinforcement following blueprint specifications to strengthen concrete structures
- Operate heavy equipment such as concrete pumps and mixers safely and efficiently on-site
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately
- Perform demolition, removal, or restoration work as needed for renovation or repair projects
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure environment for yourself and team members
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and understanding construction plans
- Experience with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and sealing techniques
- Knowledge of rebar installation, metal stud framing, masonry, stucco, roofing, and plastering is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor consistently throughout the workday
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
- Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA standards or equivalent safety protocols
