We are seeking a versatile IT/Operations Facility Assistant to provide technical and operational support across our office locations. This hands-on role combines IT support, facility management, and trial preparation assistance to ensure smooth daily operations and successful client service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Equipment Management
Set up, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other office technology
Install and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
Provide on-site technical support for courtroom technology setups and trial presentations
Manage equipment inventory and ensure all technology is maintained and functioning properly
Assist with network connectivity issues and basic troubleshooting
Facility Operations
Move and arrange office furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
Set up and break down conference rooms, meeting spaces, and event areas
Coordinate office layouts and space planning for optimal workflow
Perform minor facility maintenance and coordinate with vendors for repairs
Maintain organized storage areas for equipment and supplies
Trial & Court Support
Transport and set up technology equipment at various court locations
Configure laptops, monitors, projectors, and presentation systems for trials
Ensure all equipment is tested and functioning before court proceedings
Provide on-site technical support during trials as needed
Pack and return equipment following court appearances
General Operations
Operate company vehicles to transport equipment and supplies between locations
Assist with moving projects, office relocations, and space reconfigurations
Support administrative team with various operational needs
Maintain accurate records of equipment deployment and maintenance
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
2 years of experience in IT support, facilities management, or related field
Strong technical aptitude with computers, networks, and audiovisual equipment
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Professional demeanor suitable for court and client-facing environments
Flexibility to work occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends for trial support
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with courtroom technology or legal environment
Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
Familiarity with presentation software and audiovisual equipment
Basic network troubleshooting skills
Experience driving trucks, vans, or operating equipment dollies/hand trucks
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
Comfortable working on ladders or in confined spaces when necessary
Capable of loading and unloading equipment from vehicles
Ability to travel to multiple locations as needed
