What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Ferch's Crafthouse Grille?
Ferch's Crafthouse Grille in Wauwatosa is looking for 1-2 bartenders to join our team! Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, engaged, and a team player! Passion for craft beer is a plus, experience is preferred but not required, willingness to learn, have fun, and make money is our goal! We are located at 418 N. Mayfair Rd. Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Change kegs/stock bottles
- Has menu knowledge and is able to explain to customers all food/drink
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Pour draft/bottle beers properly
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock bar inventory and supplies
- Maintains a clean/cleans work space during shift
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Qualifications
- Proven working experience in a restaurant/sales/customer service job
- Excellent knowledge of beer/serving drinks/food safety
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean while maintaining guest experience
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs
- Reliable transportation
