Job Requirements:
The Construction Inspector is responsible for inspecting roadway improvements on DOTD highways to ensure compliance with construction plans and specifications, preparing and maintaining daily reports and quantity calculations.
Job Requirements:
- Formal education in a construction inspection curriculum OR 6-10 years of experience directly related to construction inspection.
- Must have knowledge and familiarity in dealing with DOTD municipalities, contractors, utility companies, etc.
- DOTD certifications in Embankment & Base Course, Asphalt Concrete Paving, and Portland Cement Contract Paving preferred.
- ATSSA Traffic Control/Technician (TCT) and Flagger Certifications preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Proficient in using computer software.
