Our Company
Fenagh Engineering & Testing provides special inspections, materials testing, and geotechnical engineering services for a wide array of private and public sector clients.
The primary work location will be the airport mobile lab.
Requirements
Certifications: (At least one of the following)
- ACI Aggregate Testing Technician - Level 1
- ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician
- SB 101 - Materials Property Specialist
- SB 201 - Moisture Density Specialist
- NICET Soils Level 1
Responsibilities
Ability to perform the following test methods with little to no supervision:
- ASTM D2216 - Moisture Content (AASHTO/TxDOT equivalent)
- ASTM D4318 - Atterberg Limits (AASHTO/TxDOT equivalent)
- ASTM C117/136 - Sieve Analysis (AASHTO/TxDOT equivalent)
- ASTM D698/1557 - Proctor Compaction (Standard & Modified) (AASHTO/TxDOT equivalent)
Skills/Requirements:
- 1 years or experience preferred
- Familiar with ASTM/AASHTO/TxDot methods
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Understanding of laboratory documentation and procedures
- Good with time management
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Problem solving skills
- Dependable and punctual
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
