Sales Counselor

Overview

Are you passionate about helping others find a vibrant, active lifestyle? Fellowship Square Tucson is seeking a motivated and compassionate Sales Counselor to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process and showcasing the benefits of our independent living community.

As a Sales Associate, you’ll be the welcoming face and guiding voice for individuals exploring a new chapter in life. This role involves personalized tours, strategic follow-up, home visits, and events, all in collaboration with the community team to deliver an exceptional experience. You will partner with sales and department heads to collaborate within the community to deliver an exceptional experience to achieve monthly move-ins.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective residents by phone, email, and in person.
• Lead engaging tours and deliver personalized presentations.
• Assess needs, interests, and financial readiness to guide decision-making.
• Follow up with leads through thoughtful communication and outreach.
• Close leases and coordinate move-in details with care and professionalism.
• Drive occupancy and revenue goals through strategic sales planning with the Sales Director.
• Monitor key performance metrics in the CRM, including lead conversion, speed-to-lead, and activity dashboards.
• Maintain accurate records in property management software.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to support outreach and events.
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents and families.
• Represent Fellowship Square with warmth, integrity, and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, leasing, or community relations.
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
• Ability to connect with older adults in a respectful and engaging way.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Must be 18 and of good moral character.
• A proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
• A team-oriented attitude and a passion for helping others.
• Experience in senior living or hospitality a plus.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional presentation and phone etiquette
• Organizational and time management expertise
• CRM/database experience in Sherpa/Aline, Yardi, etc.
• Proficiency with computers and basic word processing
• A compassionate, relationship-driven approach

Preferred Qualities:

• Familiarity with senior living options, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.
• Ability to empathize and support families making important life transitions
• Strong problem-solving skills and emotional intelligence
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
• Collaborative team spirit
