Allaso Ranch, a premier Christian Camp & Retreat Center in the piney woods of East Texas, is offering a year-long paid internship designed to develop future leaders in camp ministry, recreation, and hospitality.
This immersive program combines real-world experience, professional certifications, and spiritual growth to help prepare you for a career in Christian camping or ministry leadership.
What You’ll Do
As an Allaso Ranch Intern, you’ll gain experience in multiple departments — with a primary focus on Programs, Activities, and Recreation — while also exploring other areas of camp operations.
Your year will include:
- Learning to operate and lead all major camp activities
- Earning certifications such as Lifeguard and High Ropes/Zipline Operator
- Gaining hands-on experience in Event Planning, Dining Services, and Operations
- Assisting with retreats, outdoor education, and summer camp programs
- Helping create an exceptional guest experience for thousands of visitors
Professional & Spiritual Development
- Weekly mentorship and discipleship from experienced camp leaders
- Assigned reading and reflection from handpicked ministry and leadership books
- Opportunities to set personal and professional goals with guidance and accountability
- Exposure to all aspects of Christian camp management — from front-line service to behind-the-scenes coordination
