Turn your love of the outdoors into something unforgettable! Join our Outdoor University team and help students experience adventure, wonder, and learning in the great outdoors — where nature becomes the ultimate classroom.
We’re seeking energetic, creative, and reliable part-time instructors to lead hands-on classes for 5th and 6th grade students. From paddling across the lake to exploring forest ecosystems, leading team-building challenges, or uncovering the superpowers of insects — no two days are ever the same.
What You’ll Do:
- Teach a variety of engaging outdoor courses, such as Texas Ranch Life, Forest Guardians, Paddle Power, American Explorers, and more.
- Spark curiosity through interactive lessons in ecology, team-building, earth science, canoeing, and history.
- Lead memorable experiences like night hikes, mystery theater, and campfires under the stars.
- Be a mentor, guide, and leader — all while inspiring a love for the outdoors.
What We’re Looking For:
- Positive energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with kids
- A sense of adventure and comfort teaching outdoors in all weather
- Team players with flexibility and a willingness to learn (training provided)
- Background in education, science, recreation, or camp programs is a plus
Position Details:
- Part-time, seasonal (weekday mornings/afternoons)
- Located at Allaso Ranch in Hawkins, TX
- Fall Season: September–December | Spring Season: March–May
- All curriculum and training provided
